Cannot Change Audio Source

Whenever my phone automatically connects to my Vehicle's Bluetooth which is Uconnect I cannot change the audio source. Before when this would happen if I tap and held the now playing box on the control center I'd get the option to change the source from Uconnect back to my Airpods or speakers. Now when I tap and hold there is no option to switch back to my Airpods. If I'm not the current driver and I just want to use my Airpods or even my speaker I should have the option like before to switch it between audio sources.

Has this feature been removed or moved?

So I discovered I’m supposed to hit the little speaker icon above the volume to the right. Usually that’s the symbol for mute/unmute so I never touched it before. I don’t like that they moved the ability to switch sources there and it’s unlabeled.

Thanks for confirming that for us, Summerbear6.

To narrow this down a bit further, can you tell us if this issue happens on both of those devices in the exact same manner in your vehicle? Also, what happens if you only have one iPhone in the car? Does that still happen? Are all of the iPhones being used in the car updated to iOS 16.0.3?

We'd also like to make sure that your vehicle is on the approved list we provided earlier: iOS - CarPlay - Available Models - Apple. Do you see your car there?

Please let us know and we can continue troubleshooting this issue together.

Take care.
