How do I purchase an Apple TV subscription using my Apple Gift Card?

My sister sent me an Apple Gift Card so that I can buy a year of Apple TV.

Other than my tv (I use a firestick) I don't own any apple products.

I put the gift card amount into an Itunes account but I can't find where I can purchase a Apple TV subscription.

When I open the Apple TV app on my tv, I can't find any place to use the card either.

Help!
