Safari cannot open the page because it cannot establish a secure connection to the sever

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities! We first suggest checking to see if you're able to connect using another network such as cellular data or another Wi-Fi network. That will let you know if this is an issue specific to that network. We also suggest restarting your device as restarting can fix many issues.


If it continues, follow these steps to clear website data and improve Safari Performance:


  1. "Go to Settings > Safari.
  2. Tap Clear History and Website Data.
  3. Tap Clear History and Data to confirm."


Find these suggestions and steps in the article If Safari isn't loading websites or quits on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
