Hey there postmaster010,

We'd like to better understand what's happening, along with ruling out some possible causes:

  1. We aren't sure what you mean by it showing a 'spinning wheel of death', but if a spinning wheel is continuously showing, is it a rainbow colored wheel?
  2. We see you have macOS 10.12 installed, but the latest version for compatible models is macOS 12.6. While you don't need to update to macOS 12.6 if your model is compatible with it, you may need to later. That being said, we still recommend making sure you have the latest version for macOS 10.12, which would be macOS 10.12.6. You can verify this by clicking on the Apple logo at the top left corner of the screen, then on ‘About This Mac’. This link will show how to first back up, then Update macOS on Mac.
  3. Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart. Check out the section 'Restart' here: Log out, sleep, wake, restart, or shut down your Mac
  4. Any issues uploading photos to a different website other than Facebook?

Cheers.
