Purple Square in wallpaper
Hi. Can anyone tell me what this purple square in the upper left corner of the wallpaper is and how I get rid of it?
If you change the wallpaper does the square remain? If yes then there may be a fault with the screen.

Have you restarted the phone?
Just use another wallpaper.
Wallpapers from iOS15 may not behave on iOS16
No the square is not on other wallpapers - I had this wallpaper on my previous phone without the square.
I have rebooted without luck
The square os only on this wallpaper and not on others so it doesn’t Seem like a display issue.
the weird thing is that the wallpaper was part of my previous iPhone 7 setup - but without the square
Is there any chance the wallpaper has been edited to add the square? Perhaps as a joke.
I don”t think that’s possible - the wallpaper was part of the migration from previous iPhone
