airpods pro 2nd generation audio only for pc

My gen 1 Airpods Pro work with windows 10 audio only (no mic) just fine. I cannot get my 2nd gen Airpods Pro to work audio only with Windows 10. When it connects, it does so as a headset and enables the mic and it sounds terrible. I just want to use audio, not voice. Any ideas?

AirPods Pro (Gen2) microphone not working with Windows 11. AirPods Pro (Gen2) A2698 with firmware version 6A301 microphone does not work with windows 11. If anyone is having similar issues or if they got solution, I would be grateful. I need it to work as I need it for my online class and laptop microphone is not so suitable for that purpose. There loads of features for apple to apple like automatic switching but no working microphone for windows. I even tried updated the pc and some apple driver got updated but the problem is still not solved. As you can see in below image that there is no test for the Apple AirPods Pro (Gen2).

Airpods Max Sound Quality on Windows I connected my airpod max headphones to my Windows computer via bluetooth, and the sound quality is absolutely terrible as well as the quality of my microphone. I’ve tried to update the drivers on the computer as well as switching from Hands Free to Stereo, but this only worsens or does not solve the issue. Please let me know if anyone else has experienced this and has a solution.
