Folders missing from favorites on iPhone Safari

Where did all my FOLDERS go in my “Favorites” on my iPhone 13?? (NOT the bookmarked “Favorite” websites themselves, but the FOLDERS that I had my “Favorite” websites ARRANGED in, by topic!)

Hi Free Thinker,

I see from your post that it appears a bookmarks folder on your iPhone has been deleted by accident. If you do not have any backup, then you can still try and recover the bookmarks, as long as you have been using them with iCloud.

Restore your Safari bookmarks and Reading List on iCloud.com - Apple Support

1) On iCloud.com, go to Account Settings, then click Restore Bookmarks in the Advanced section.

You can sort available bookmarks by Date Deleted, Name, or Folder.

2) To the right of the version you want to restore, click Restore.

There may be more versions than can be displayed. Scroll to see them all.

Note: Wait until iCloud finishes restoring your Safari bookmarks and Reading List before you change them. During the restore process, any changes you make aren’t saved.
