Did I get a faulty Iphone?

About two and a half months ago, I traded my phone for the new iPhone 13 Max. It was fine for the first couple of weeks but then it started having issues. My data began to be finicky and would randomly stop working. I initially thought that maybe I went over on my data but I stopped using data for a whole week and still to this day try to stay only on wifi but my data still isn't working. This brings me to the other problem. My phone is not reliable when it comes to connecting to wifi. About a third of the time my phone will be connected to the wifi but none of my apps will work. The worst part is when I am home my computer will connect to the wifi easily and everything will work but my phone won't function at all. I am not sure what the issue is but I am starting to get frustrated. Any insights? Thank you :)
