I just recently bought the iphone 14 pro, and I’m selling my old iphone 11 to a family friend’s daughter. I did the factory reset on my 11, but do I need to remove my SIM card before selling it, or does the SIM card stay in the phone? TIA!

There is no data stored on the sim card, but wouldn't hurt to remove the sim card.
