iWatch allergic reaction to the metal

Hi,

Whenever I try to wear my iWatch I develop a rash with sores where the back, circular part of the watch comes in to contact with my wrist. I've tried switching wrists, purchasing a backing cover (which only covers the "square" of the watch, not the circular part), washing/disinfecting, and making sure to keep dry.

Because none of this seems to be the solution, I am guessing it's an allergy to the metal used for the iWatch backing.

Does anyone have advice or a solution to this? I love my watch, but it is very uncomfortable when the rash breaks out.

Thank you!
