Can’t find SaiSuke on App Store, what happened to it? I can’t seem to run the app or update it

from developer: “There is a critical compatibility break with iOS16. Therefore the feature of Google Calendar sync in SaiSuke is no longer functional on iOS16. There is no plan to update SaiSuke since it is released in 2008. “

SaiSuke can still be used on IOS 16 in a limited way. To fix the crashing on startup, You need ot put your phone in "Airplane Mode". Next, start Saisuke, and turn off "Auto Sync". The you can turn "Airplane Mode" back off. On mine, I had to turn on all the IOS calendars and the SaiSuke Calendar. Mine still updates from my Google calendars that I had when the IOS 16 was updated, but you can't add new calendars. Like I said you can use it in a limited way. BTW...If you hit the sync button, it will crash.

If you go into airplane mode you can open the app. Then go to settings and turn off sync with google. Now you can turn off airplane mode.

You won’t be able to sync with google but you’ll be able to see your calendar again without it crashing.

I have the same problem (crashes immediately upon opening). Saisuke is no longer in the App store and the Saysoftware web site seems nonfunctional. I will be sad to say goodbye to this trusted tool. I would like to know what the heck is going on.

I sync with iCloud and MS Exchange calendars and have not had any problems. So if you can avoid a Google calendar then it seems to work.

Also, has anyone found a good replacement? This has been my favorite calendar app for years.

Same issue. I’ve had it for probably 15 years and the amount of data on there that I will lose. Some was doubled in google, but probably only 50% :(

Look at the comment I just posted. You an get your info back. You just won’t be able to sync to google. Hope this helps.

This has me very depressed. My Saisuke looks so good. It has been my friend for many years.
