downloading files will not work on OSX 12.6
WhenI try to download a file, either;
- a momentary "blip" occurs, or
- the msg is "stopped".
The same files can be downloaded on Firefox.
Using MacBook Pro 2020, OSX 12.6.
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.6

I'm not sure this is it, but try looking in Safari Preferences, Websites to see if you have blocked that site from downloading.
