Refurbished XR Freezing on Country or Region Selection

I have purchased a used XR from GiffGaff, when attempting to go through setup the iPhone freezes after selecting Country or Region.

I have contacted GiffGaff who sent me a link to this forum with reset and reboot procedures.

I have attempted all solutions given yet the phone still freezes, iphone also does not appear on my itune on mac book.

Does anybody have any further solutions or am I going to have to return to GiffGaff and await a replacement.

Hoping for a solution as can not see my self without a phone for another weekend.

Hey there,

Do you mean when you setup your iPhone you facing this issue? or it’s already setup ?

try again force restart your iPhone to see if that will solve your problem:

Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the side button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
