I can't recover my iPhone

I have forgotten my passcode for my iPhone and now I have to factory reset through my MacBook. It was downloading certain software updates but suddenly my iPhone opened up whilst being updated the result was it stopped updating. I thought well I might had just hit my hand or something but that is not the case. So I did the same steps over again I put the phone in recovery mode, activated Restore mode but this time it is stuck on loading..

How can I solve this? I can't use my phone anymore

iPhone SE, iOS 16

Hi StanleyM15,

For help with restoring your iPhone, be sure you have a strong internet connection on your Mac, and all macOS updates are installed.

Connect to the internet with your Mac

Update macOS on Mac

If you see a progress bar on your iPhone screen, follow the steps here: Apple logo with progress bar after updating or restoring iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If you don't see a progress bar, you may need to test entering recovery mode once again with the steps here: If you can't update or restore your iPhone or iPod touch

You can also connect with a different computer or laptop to test. If the issue remains, reach out to Apple Support directly to further assist.
