I used to have student plan for apple music, but my family decided to pay for the family plan, so I got invited and decided to switch to the family plan instead. Is there anything I need to do like canceling my current student plan in order to switch subscription plan?
Nope. When you accept the invitation, it should automatically cancel your existent subscription on its next renewal date and start using the shared one.
