Apple Music playlists disappeared

Apple M1 IMAC playlist disappeared and no .xml file. Read and tried everything finally went to my old computer and copied the .xml file from its music file and then imported by adding to library. Fixed

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

Unfortunately, after restoring from Time Machine the list of playlists remains empty for a few seconds then displays my current (incomplete) set. I've tried this several times going back further for a file to restore each time but Music always launches and displays the current library. My Music.app 1.4.1.29 ignores any file called "Music Library" and creates one called "1.Music Library" but the same thing happens if I restore any past version of that one too Has Apple changed what/how/where it makes and uses its library file? I'm running Sonoma 14.1.1. Thanks much. Scott

Apple Music won't work in Ventura 13.5.2 Hello, I have a new Mac mini M2, OSX 13.5.2 and it seems that Apple Music is not working as it should. I cannot drag and drop, it won't let me use the 'import' command and edit playlists. It's also the only app that has crashed my Mac so far. Any advice? Many thanks

Apple Music on Sonoma (14 + 14.1) bug? When clicking All Playlists, there is no way to open folders. Double-click won't open them. It was the situation on macOS 14 and I waited for 14.1 and it is the same. Thanks

Set up Time Machine. See Back up your Mac with Time Machine - Apple Support. That way you could restore your Music Library.musiclibrary package from backup should this ever happen again.
