iPad volume output will only get so loud.

The volume amplifier in mobile devices is very weak.

There isn't much to be done.

The audio adapter that is used to route audio from the iPad to a set of earphones/headphone or other audio iinput devices also has a very weak digital to analogue audio circuit in it, as well.

You might have to purchase a small, compact audio mixer, with a built-in pre-amp ( that can be powered by a larger rechargeable battery and/or by pluging into an external wall power outlet for additional power.

Plug the iPad into one of the mixer input channels and purchase an external audio cable to output the audio from the mixer into the PA audio system.

Small, portable mixers and audio cables can be found online, at places like Amazon.

I just thought of another option.

Forget the hall PA.

My brother and I purchase a large, Bluetooth, powered audio speaker the size of a a piece of carry-on luggage that has a pull up handle and rollers on it, just like a piece of luggage.

This carry-on luggage size, Bluetooth powered speaker has a much larger and powerful speaker inside, can work and be charged on a rechargeable battery or be plugged into a main wall power outlet to both charge and power this speaker

I used this in a small banquet hall, a few weeks ago, and it got plenty loud enough using my iPhone as the Bluetooth sound source.

This Bluetooth speaker system is made by a company called iON.

These carry-on luggage size Bluetooth speakers are called the iON Pathfinder Bluetooth speaker series.

You can, also, search for these on Amazon, as well.

Amazon has both new and refurbished models of these.

iON makes differrent models of these at different price ponits

These iON Pathfinder carry-on luggage size Bluetooth, powered speakers can be found at a local Best Buy or Costco, as well.

I own the iOS Pathfinder 320 and this puts out a pretty large amount of sound for its size.

The larger wattage versions have a larger speaker and put more power/sound, but the larger versions, also, get more expensive.

Price ranges on Amazon are $130 to $300 U.S.D..

Another option to consider.
