ipad 12.9in 4th gen, touch not responsive, did hard reset, but still persists. Apple care plus and warranty just expired 15-20 days ago. Apple cant repair it. should i trust 3rd party repair shops? or is there any alternative? :(

Have you tried backing up the iPad and then setting up as new to rule out a software problem?
I would do that.
I would talk to a third-party repair price and get an estimate. If not a lot less thanthe Apple price and would go top Apple.
