iPad Pro M2 wont turn on

We baught an iPad Pro M2 on 21-02-2023. We did not use it for a long time and now it does not turn on. So we sent it back to the seller and asked for a repair. Unfortunately they said it cannot be repaired, the logic board is defect. According to German consumer protection laws, there is a two year warrenty (Gewährleistung) from the date of purchase. Since the seller was unable to help, I opened this thread at Apple Support Communities.
