Start up MacBook Pro after erase all

Powers back on and starts up with wanting wi fi selected or plugged in. Have iPhone plugged in for sharing hotspot but not connecting. There is also a wi fi available but nothing shows. Wanting to set up for a new user.

Hi Marter27,

If you've recently erased your Mac, this would be expected.

After erasing your Mac, you'll need to create a new account, sign in with your Apple ID, etc. Your iPhone hotspot would work after you set up a new user.

If you have a backup to restore from Time Machine, you'd be presented with the option during the start up process. Also see the steps here: Restore your Mac from a backup - Apple Support

Let us know if you have any further questions.

Cheers!
