I just installed two cameras via Homekit. The cameras generate a notification when they 'see' someone. The problem is that I can't set this to a specific sound on my iPhone - it is exact the same sound as just another incoming message. I want another sound, so that I know that I have to pay immediate attention when I hear it.
Is it possible to change the sound somewhere?

Regarding HomeKit notification sounds there isn't a way to change the default alert tone. However you can change your incoming messages tone with the steps below found in the guide page here: Change message notifications on iPhone - Apple Support

Your suggested documentation confirms what I already found: in the place where it should be there is no option to specify which sound the Home app must use. I sent in a product feedback.
