I have a group message I cannot delete

I have an iphone 12 and I have ONE group message with two people. Every time I swipe to delete it, it returns. I have tried even deleting the contents. It's the ONLY ONE I can't get rid of. I believe one user has an iphone and other an Android. Can someone help me? I have tried logging out of my icloud and back in. I tried restarting my phone. I even tried changing my settings to only saving messages for 30 days rather than forever. Nothing is working!

Hello mikbrady11,

It seems like you are trying to delete the one group message thread but it always comes back, right? From your description, it sounds like an SMS/MMS message and not iMessage.

When it isn't an iMessage group, that means any time someone texts the group, you will receive that message.

"Delete a conversation

Touch and hold the conversation to open an options menu.
Tap Delete .
Tap Delete once more to confirm.

As long as the conversation isn't pinned, you can also swipe left over the conversation, tap Delete, then tap Delete again to confirm.

To delete more than one conversation, open Messages and tap Edit in the upper-left corner. Tap Select Messages, then tap the circle next to the conversations and tap Delete in the bottom-right corner."
