Proraw to PC

Hello!

My desktop is a Win 10 PC and I edit photos with old versions of Lightroom and Photoshop. I'm having issues just getting an original Proraw dng from an iphone 14 pro over to my PC. I fully understand RAW files and all editing challenges. I just want to see the dng file in Explorer for starters. This just seems so elementary and I'm confounded as to how to accomplish this.

I will not be held hostage by Adobe or any other subscription model. Some of us live on very limited senior budgets. All ideas welcome.

It shouldn't be a problem to transfer photos.

You can use a cable.

I also use Microsoft OneDrive to upload DNG and then to download them to my PC.

It looks on my end like you can't selectively upload to iCloud. ?? This means you have to synch the entire library and be forced to upgrade the iCould account when you fill up the initial 5gb just to get the most recent photo(s) on iCloud.

I'll soon see if using iCloud will allow me to eventually get a raw file over to my PC. If this doesn't work I guess it's time to use the return window of 14 days to rid myself of all this.

Apple appears to have a trove of tricks to monetize your every move.

I'm dumbfounded. I can't even get the 48mp raw to synch to iCloud. What am I even looking at when I look at the 48mp version in the camera app. What am I actually editing?
