Face ID not working after iOS 16.03 update on iPhone 14 Pro

Update: Updated iphone to 16.1 still had the same issues. Weird thing I noticed was Face ID worked when the phone was in landscape mode.

I also did a reset erased all data and started phone without restoring my icloud backup still FACE ID didn't work.

Called support they ran remote diagnostic test came up with no issues. Scheduled me for an appointment @ my local Apple Store.

During this Face ID issue I noticed my Apple Watch was no longer unlocking my MBP. Ended up reconnecting my Apple Watch to icloud which fixed the unlock MBP and fixed my Face ID issue on the iphone.

Don't see the correlation between Apple Watch icloud connection and iphone Face ID, but it works now. I'll take it.
