Under settings, my apple watch lists a phone number that belongs to Verizon. It is not my phone number. Does this make sense?

lawrencefromhartland,

Thank for providing step on where you see this number. This is expected behavior. As you can see from this resource about setting up cellular on an Apple Watch: Set up cellular on Apple Watch - Apple Support

You might see a phone number assigned to your Apple Watch that differs from the phone number assigned to your iPhone. The number shown for your Apple Watch is for your carrier's billing or tracking purposes only; your iPhone and Apple Watch share the same number.

Hope that helps!

Take care.

Hello lawrencefromhartland,

Without knowing exactly where you are seeing this number, it is hard to determine if this is a support number, or something else.

If you would like to provide the location of what you are seeing, then perhaps others here will be able to help provide information about whether it should be there or not.

You can also contact Verizon, if you would like.

Have a good day.

On my Iphone, I click settings, then my name at the top. I scroll down to my list of devices, and click on my Apple Watch. I get a list of model, version, phone number, serial number, and IMEI. The phone number is a number for Verizon. When I call I get a robot. Is this appropriate? Is it supposed to be the number for a provider? That is not what it says...Please help. Thank you.
