How do I correct the brightness display permanently?

Hello selma157,


You can prevent your MacBook Air from automatically adjusting the display brightness using the steps below:


1. If your Mac has an ambient light sensor, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Displays  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
2. Turn off “Automatically adjust brightness” on the right.
If you don’t see the “Automatically adjust brightness” option, you can manually adjust the brightness.
