Every time I set yahoo on my Safari it won’t stay on like before. Especially when I clear history. How can I make it stay on as a homepage?

Every time I set yahoo on my Safari it won’t stay on like before. Especially when I clear history. How can I make it stay on as a homepage?

On what device? This is the Safari for Mac computers forum. But your device line says your are referring to an iPhone.
On an iPhone, Safari has no homepage. It opens to the last opened tab you had. It you clear history, it closes all open tabs.
You can set Yahoo as Safari's default search engine in Settings->Safari->Search Engine.
Beyond that, you can add a bookmark to your Home Screen by opening Yahoo, and then tapping on the share icon, and the. on add to Home Screen. Then every time you tap on that, it will open to the Yahoo website.
If you are doing this on a Mac, you can open the Safari Menu->Preferences->General.
Set "New Tabs" and "New Windows" open with ands set it to "HomePage".
Then enter the url for yahoo: https://yahoo.com in the HomePage text box below that.
