Yes, if the phone was purchased in the US. If it was purchased anywhere else you get 1 eSIM and one nanoSIM. See→Using Dual SIM with an eSIM - Apple Support

Thank you Lawrence. Let me rephrase my question. Is it possible to receive calls and texts at the same time from two different numbers (two different eSIMs) - without turning one off and another one on? The new iPhone will be purchased in the US. Typically when I travel to Europe, I carry two phones - one for US calls and the other one for local calls with the local SIM card. So with the new iPhone I will be able to simultaneously receive calls or texts from both numbers (both eSIMS)? Correct?
