Logic Pro 10.6.3 conflict with an external device error

I’m trying to summarize and keep it short for y’all. I’ve posted on Reddit and another Logic Pro forum and gotten zero solutions.

have been a regular daily user of Logic Pro for some time now. All of the sudden out of nowhere I am getting the conflict with device error on basically all my projects with more than 4 regions. Ive turned off all plug ins on project and freeze every region. I’ve upped my io. I’ve reinstalled Logic. I’m at a total loss of what could be going on and really need some help. And prior to this I have run extremely heavy plug in projects with 25 regions with zero issues.

this is my outlet from a pretty stressful job and Ive been without now for half a week and I’m starting to spaz lol

edit: here’s more info. interface is a mackie profx6. Io buffer: 1024, processing thread: auto, buffer range: large, multi threading: playback tracks. Summing: standard 32 require: off. I have 211GB on my SSD.

what’s interesting (or maddening) is the cpu usage doesn’t seem to be spiking but it’s that static overload sound and error after 4 seconds initially and then immediately after I received the error once and try to play again. I tried a diff usb cable and port.

after bypassing all plug ins, it works fine. But clearly that’s not an acceptable solution as I have a lot of plug ins that cost a lot of money and I want to use. Two weeks ago, I could run 25 regions, heavy plug ins, no issues. Something. Has happened to cause this and of really appreciate some assistance.

The only changes were I downloaded soundtoys demo and started using some new wireless headphones. But I figured it out through process of elimination. Amplitube 5 was causing the issue across every project.

deleted and reinstalled updated version and working fine. I looked everywhere for amplitube causing errors and spikes like that and couldn’t find any documentation but it was outdated by 2 versions it looks like so I dunno.

what an absolute headache tho. Thanks for responding!
