What is best approach for protecting lenses on the iPhone 14 Pro Max? I read various comments in this Forum

I have a new iPhone 14 and have read mixed recommendations as to whether plastic or glass protective covers are advisable. Is there any removable solid lens cover which could be removed before the camera is used each time?

There are third party cases and lens covers but Apple don't seem to offer them them. But check the accessories section in Apple.com to make sure.

Always remove any lens covers before using the camera.

The lenses are very hard sapphire glass but...

Use the Apple Magsafe or any other case that is thick enough to give some protection

Always fit a glass screen protector (you can get them for a couple of $ on Ebay) and always place the phone face down on a table or desk

Keep one pocket or purse compartment solely for the iPhone, free from coins, keys etc.

Thank you for your advice. It would be helpful for Apple to take a position on lens protectors, though I guess it views a recommendation positive to lens protectors as an implied criticism of its existing product. It seems that an Apple product or recommendation of a third party product would be helpful to those customers who want additional protection.
