Have anyone started to face battery drain in iPhone 13 after iOS 16.1 update..?
i wasnt facing a battery issue in ios 16.0.3 but today onwards after new update i have experiencing a drastic battery drain

Updated this morning (iPhone 14 pro), experiencing the same. My phone can also sit on the charger for an hour and will be the same battery life as before. If I restart my phone, it’ll update to the correct battery life.
Turning off Contacts Sync, it’s pretty defeating. Grr. Thanks for the reply
Yeah, all support does is run a diagnostic and tells me everything is fine. So nice they are ignoring and not even hinting of working a fix.
Has anyone had luck with the 16.2 beta?

Early indications are that disabling Contact Sync with iCloud has resolved my problem on both my phone and my watch.

Confirmed. All is good with contact sync disabled. Not a desired state and hopefully Apple can address this issue soon!
I bought icloud + services just before this iclous sync problems. Cancelled it.
Wuhuu 🎂 iOS 16.2 updated and looks good - Contacts iCloud backup turned back ON and data consumption dip back to earlier normal - seems no drain so far.

Did you have the iCloud Photo Library?
I do have my Photo library syncing with iCloud.
After an update of 16.2 and turning contact sync on I am good to go and back to normal.
