Top conversations is blank!

In the past, I could go to iCloud > Manage Storage > Messages on my iPhone and then click Top Conversations to see in size order the message strings that were taking up the most space. Now, it says Zero KB and there are none listed, but the messages are taking up a significant amount of space, so there should messages listed there. We need an update on when this will be fixed vs forcing people to buy more storage!

This has been absent since at least two major updates ago and many have expressed frustrations about getting it back. (See thread from April 2022 where Apple does not even acknowledge that it was removed or broken in one of the updates.).
