phishing sms received after placing order

I received a phishing SMS the day I received an order from apple, it had a lot of information in it and I'm curious where the leak is.

It had my phone #, postal code, full name (I don't use my full name anywhere except apparently in my apple account)

I noted that all of this information was on the outside of the package. All of my email accounts and icloud are protected by MFA and there were no unusual logins recorded. The best I can figure is that at some point in the parcel's journey to my front door someone captured the data on the shipping label and used it in the phishing campaign, or more likely just passed it on to someone else who runs the campaign. That said, I inherently don't want to believe that my email has been compromised.

Has this type of scenario been reported anywhere else? is it reasonable to assume that the shipper is physically compromised?

Hello csawatsky,

Phishing can orient from numerous places; be it from your info gathered online or offline. So determine the exact origin isn't likely. However, you are able to report suspicious texts that you believe are trying to gather your personal information, as explained at Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support

* To report a suspicious SMS text message that looks like it's supposed to be from Apple, take a screenshot of the message and email the screenshot to reportphishing@apple.com.
* To report spam or other suspicious messages that you receive through Messages, tap Report Junk under the message. You can also block unwanted messages and calls.
