2-factor Auth Prompt

I upgraded to 16.1 and now Settings keeps prompting to "Update Apple ID Settings" in order to prompt me to enable 2 factor auth - regardless of how many times I choose Other Options > Don't Upgrade.

Has anyone found a workaround to continue to keep their choice of not enabling 2 factor at this time and yet not get prompted on every screen unlock?
