Set my iMac Pro to 3840 x 2160

I'm wondering why I cannot set my iMac Pro to 3840 x 2160? I have an LG 4K monitor connected and it shows up fine as a 4K. My iMac Pro, however, skips from 5120 to 3200... Thoughts?

I have a late 2013 iMac 27, running 10.12.6 OS. I have a late 2013 iMac, 27, with OS 10.12.6. I want to get a 32 inch, 4K external monitor. 3840 x 2160. Can my iMac do this? Thanks.

Additional 5K monitor for iMac27 2017 I connected an additional 5K Samsung ViewFinity S90PC monitor to my 2017 iMac27 using a Thunderbolt cable. The picture on the monitor is terrible. What could be the problem and is there a solution? I tried several different Thunderbolt cables. MacBook 2021 works great with this monitor.

The built-in display only supports certain resolutions. That's a feature of the built-in display.

Thanks Grant. Kinda weird that 4K specifically is not supported. Makes it awkward when working with a secondary 4K monitor.
