Apple Trade in w/failed screen

The final question on Apple Trade In survey asks about physical condition of the body of laptop and if the screen is free of damage. I’m assuming even if externally everything is in good shape but the LVDS cable or backlight power cable have failed such that screen goes black if i open lid past ~30 degrees, then I need to check “no”?

If the screen does not come on— then I would say the screen is damaged.
