Updates take too much storage?

Do you guys think one day the updates will take too much storage? I know right now 7.54gb vs 64gb isn’t a lot but if a person keeps updating will it slowly fill up to too much? I know this probably is a dumb question so I’m sorry. Just like to ask people who understand smart phones, updates, and storage better than me about this stuff. If you’re able to explain if it will take up too much space years away that would be great ☺️❤️

Thank you for trying to help. But this wasn’t very helpful since my question was more along the lines of: will updates take up too much space in the future. I have enough space right now. I’m wondering if each update takes up space won’t all the storage one day be used by just the updates?
