How to run a script on login

Perhaps the same question as Run Script on Startup - Apple Community

I have got a script I want to run to ensure I fetch latest version of a folder from our servers. Each morning I just open a Terminal, and then run it manually. But.

I want to just have less fuss and relying on my brain, open it every time I login so I can see that it's run and I don't forget. No I don't want a cron thing to run at a set time. I went into Users and Groups, clicked on my user and I expected to see a "Startup items" button someplace, but that seems to have moved in Monterey?

Login Items is the place.

In System Preferences->Users & Groups, click Login Items and add your script.

Don't get your hopes high.

I am on my first day of using Ventura, and System Preferences (now System Settings) has been completely overhauled, but (for now, at least) not easier or clearer than before.

Login Items was changed from Users & Groups to General - not a very intuitive thing to do, IMHO.

Plenty of other things have been shuffled around.
