iOS 16.1 wifi bug

My iPhone 14 Pro Max keeps dropping and reconnecting to wifi every few seconds. This happened right after I updated to 16.1. Tried restarting and even resetting network settings. Is there another fix for this? Or should I just wait for an update? This is really frustrating!!

Settings > Privacy > Location Services.

Click on Location Services at the top of the list (make sure that they are turned on).

Scroll to the bottom of the list, then tap System Services.

Turn OFF Networking & Wireless (or Wi-Fi Networking).

The disconnect/reconnect cycle for your Wifi should be gone. 🤓

Since updating to iOS 16.1, neither my iPhone 11 Pro nor my iPhone SE (2) would connect to my Wi-Fi. I tried the suggestion just above. I also toggled the phones’ Wi-Fi, forgot and rejoined my network, and reset all network settings. Nothing worked, not even for a few seconds.

On a whim, I checked my TP-Link Deco mesh routers. A firmware update was available, so I downloaded and installed it. Once the routers were back online, both phones magically connected to the network.
