I just updated to macOS Monterey 12.4. Afterwards, my HP Laser Jet Professional M1212 nf MRF2 printer would not work. I downloaded the driver. But the package for the driver keeps quitting and won't allow reinstallation to my Mac mini now. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks.

And it was this driver for Monterey released in Aug 2022?
You removed, and re-added the device via System Preferences > Printers & Scanners panel with the [-] button? On the subsequent Bonjour add panel, you selected the printer entry that then activated the Use: selector and with those v5.1 drivers selected, clicked re-add and attempted a test print, or test scan using Apple's Image Capture?

Thanks for the response this morning. Btwn your reply and another one, I got what I needed. I was able to successfully download the installation package for that HP driver (8.18.22) after I updated my computer once again.
