Need an updated Apple Music subscription to listen to downloaded library

So I don’t have an Apple Music subscription I buy all my music I don’t rent it every time I ask Siri to play a certain band or a certain song it used to just play that song It would not say you need to update your music subscription

But now it does, I ask it to play a certain artist and it comes up with the message you need to update your subscription to do so

Hey Aerrow-XIII,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're having an issue with Siri playing your purchased music. We'd like to help.

In order to get this resolved, we'll want to help you isolate the issue. Since asking Siri to play music is part of Hey Siri, it can be helpful to complete these steps: If "Hey Siri" isn't working on your iPhone - Apple Support

Start with the basics and then move on to the other steps in that resource:

Check if "Hey Siri" is turned on
1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap Siri & Search.
3. From here, make sure the following settings are turned on:
* Listen for "Hey Siri"
* Allow Siri When Locked

If you're unable to get it resolved after you finish those steps, we'd recommend contacting Apple Support for additional help. You can start that conversation here: Contact - Official Apple Support

Hope that helps.

Take care!
