I don't want my watch to pause automatically when I stop walking for a while. I just want to record how far I walk in a given day, and having to resume is annoying. Is there a way tell it not to do this?
Turning off auto-pause seems to work only for cycling and running.
But you won't need the workout app to see how far you walk on a day, You can just wear your watch, don't use a workout and go to the rings app (condition) to see your walking distance on a day

Thanks. I wasn't aware of that, though on my watch it's the Activity app.
I'd still like to avoid the pauses though.
Often I want to know specifically how far I went on a specific walk. I might stop in a store or coffee shop or something along the way, and would prefer not to have to pause and resume.
