my ipad suddenly lost the ability to rotate anything

My ipad suddenly stopped being able to rotate and I clicked the rotation lock and unlock and it still will not rotate for anything

iPad Pro, iPadOS 15

I did and reset which fixed my non rotation issues, but your way seems more elegant and doesn't require internet setup and passwords. Thanks, will keep this answer in mind if it should happen again.
