Unsolicited apple id sign in requests

I keep getting apple id sign in requests from Madrid. I have never even been to Madrid.

Apple suggests changing password. I did change the password. But doesn’t solve the problems:

  1. I receive sign in requests ~3 times a day, which is very annoying.
  2. Somebody has been trying to break into my account without repercussions for a while now, which is unacceptable.

please help

If the attempts continue, you might want to consider a name change.

You can change your Apple ID email address on your current Apple ID so you retain access to your data and prior purchases. Note the restrictions in the article.

Make sure you turn off Find My Phone before signing out of the old ID. Once signed out and Find My Phone is off, then sign in with the new ID, then turn Find My Phone back on.
