Hi.. i have a pdf document. it is a persons resume
in the resume it has their LinkedIn profile link and a You tube link.
I can not for the life of me open these links. it just wont open.
they look like this in the resume( they dont have the url spelled out)

Open the PDF in Apple's Preview. Perform a right-click on the linked text and from the secondary menu, choose copy link. Now, click on your Desktop to get Finder's attention, and from its Edit menu > Show Clipboard, does the URL that now appears there have any other characters (e.g. #%!&_ .etc.) present?
Can you open Apple's Safari and paste that link into the address bar and press return to visit that link site?

If you did not select the letters in that PDF where the supposed link resides, but rather hovered your pointer over that link, and you right-clicked as I mentioned, if there was an associated link, a Copy Link would have put that full URL on the clipboard for you. Apple's Preview allows this, but Adobe's Reader DC does not.
I suspect that the person that originally created the PDF may have not assigned a correct URL to that text in the application that created the PDF, or if they used a PDF Editor afterward to add the Link annotation..
Thanks for the answer. Alas, that did not work. When pasted it just pasted the letters ( ie. no URL).
Maybe there is actually no link embedded into the PDF?
