Ventura and SanDisk drive

My Macbook Pro updated to Ventura and when I tried to open my SanDisk drive, it didn't open and I got a message that said "This application only runs on a SanDisk flash drive". I was freaking out until I saw people had the same problem every time a new operative system was updated. I wanna share what worked for me to help a lot of people that I'm sure are gonna get the same problem. The solution was to download the Private Access here: https://support-en.wd.com/app/answers/detailweb/a_id/48025 It opened perfectly now!

Hi, I had the same issue. I also found the link you suggested, but when I download nothing changes. The download link refers to a file with a version number on it (6.3.12), but when I download it there is no version suffix. Can you tell me if yours had the suffix?

It is often recommend when purchasing a external drive to erase, reformat, initialize the drive as new—

this will rid any proprietary software that comes pre-installed

Often this is the issue, especially if the purchased drive claims "Mac ready" or some such...
