How to change home directory path in macos ventura

I have just recently installed macOS Ventura in my 128 gb ssd. I also have a hard disk alongside the ssd that I used as my home folder in previous versions of Mac OS. In previous versions of Mac OS, I could see an option to change the path of home folder, which I set to the hdd. But in Ventura and the new system settings app, I do not see such option. In sort, my target is the move the home folder for user "Samman" from its usual /Users/samman to /Volumes/hdd/samman. How might I do so??

Keep in mind storing the home user folder on an external drive now results in a broken Mac whenever macOS installs any system updates or upgrades. This issue began with an update to macOS 12.5.1 and still seems to be an issue. Make sure you are prepared to deal with a broken system after each macOS update. It is hard to say whether Apple are working on a fix or when a fix will arrive. See this thread for reference:

According to this article, it works the same as it always has.

Go to your account in Users & Groups, and control-click on your account to see "Advanced Options…". You can set the path to your home directory on your external device there.
