Apple Music free 6 month trial

I bought the new AirPods Pro 2nd generation, and got 6 month for free on Apple Music, but as I experimented I canceled the subscription and thought the trial will reamain active till the end of its period of 6 month, unfortunately I couldn’t return it, and now I need to pay, please help if I can at list keep the 6 month perioedof use of Apple Music for free
