apple air 3 stuck on iOS 16.1 iPad installation 4013 error

In using the suggestions in these two post .. I was able to restore back to iOS 15.7 from the mess of iOS iPad 16. Thanks so much to users applegoingdownhill & norweg

Nobody in sr tech support through cases or Genius Bar could fix I was told to replace the iPad. Thanks to this user community my iPad is up & running again.

I ended up contacting .. after troubleshooting -- they think the upload speed has to be 10 mb to do the update. I replaced modem -- but still failing. So now I can't do update from home. I hope others don't run into this .. Not a good introduction to a new operating system.

Well not good. Nothing worked and now tried to sell me a new iPad.
