IPhone 14 Messages

I can send texts and they get to the recipient, BUT I cannot receive messages from android phone or verification codes from financial institutions etc.,

Contact your cell service provider and have them check the provisioning only your iPhone for SMS/MMS

Changed my service provider and the problem was solved!
